New Labels! New Store!

Posted on 16 February, 2011 at 23:07
Well, I've changed up my labels 6 times this year and this time I think I finally got it right!  I am very happy with these.  They are elegant, recyled, down to earth, slightly whimsical, branded and are just paper that is wrapped around and taped so the buyer can take it off and have a plain candle if they would like.  I am also making tags for my coffee candles and other funky sizes.
  What do you think?
I will still keep my recycled white labels for any hard-core fans but otherwise, I really like the recycled brown.

Speaking of new......Handmade Local Market opened this weekend!  If you haven't had a chance to check it out, please do!  For the month of February you can buy one of my healing shea, soy and essential oil massage candles for only $5!   This Saturday, ALL CUSTOMERS GET FREE LIPBALM while supplies last.  One per customer.
Plus, I have a shelf of OOPS! candles with the wrong wicks, discontinued fragrances, discontinued jars, etc. that are only $5!

Hope to see you there!

I just found out that the mayor of Portland, Sam Adams, will be cutting the ribbon at the opening ceremony for the artist community that my new shop is a part of. April 8th and 9th Milepost 5 in Portland, OR on NE 82nd, just S. of Glisan, will be having their Grand Opening. My shop, Just the Good Stuff, will be located adjacent to the restrooms, down the hallway from the restaurant, E.A.T., on the first floor behind the Gallery. There will be workshops, music, great food, artwork and if you stop by my shop I'll give you a free lip balm made of essential oils, shea, coconut oil, jojoba and soy. Plus, you can buy a massage candle for $5, regularily $14 and smell all my wonderful candles, check out my talented son's cool pottery faces, take home some of my sister's handmade goat and/or hemp soap, and eat some yummy treats. See you there!

I admire your creativity especially making your labels using recycled stuffs. Recycle stuffs are nice to use for home decors or for business.
